Catoosa County Conservation District Presents Level 1a Renewal Course

The Catoosa County Conservation District, in partnership with the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC), is hosting a Level 1A Recertification Course on Thursday, March 17, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at The Colonnade at 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold, GA in the White Oak/Barnhardt Rooms.

Persons involved in land development, construction, planning, permitting, monitoring, inspection, or land-disturbance activities in Georgia must be certified through the GSWCC program in accordance with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division.

This four-hour course is presented by the GSWCC to renew Level 1A (blue card). There is no test. Upon completion of the course, certifications will be renewed for three years. The registration fee is $125 and includes the course textbook. Space is limited to 50 participants.

Participants should arrive at 8:00 a.m for check-in and textbook distribution. The course will begin at 8:30 a.m.
