2021 District supervisor handbook

The 2021 edition of the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor Handbook is intended for newly elected and appointed Georgia Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors, as well as for existing District Supervisors.

This handbook provides an overview of Georgia’s Soil and Water Conservation Districts, their partners, and the responsibilities as a local Conservation District Supervisor. It will help Supervisors follow the policies and procedures governing District activities to assist you in serving the local community and the State of Georgia.

The information in this publication was developed by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission in partnership with the Georgia Association of Conservation Districts.
